Houston, Texas 77043 - Workshop Required (Friday, February 6, 2026) consists of a required written review. Check-in for the workshop begins at 7:30 a.m. Students can expect to be finished at approximately 5 p.m.
- Exam (Saturday, February 7, 2026) includes a 45-minute closed book installation exam, consisting of approximately 45 questions, a 2-hour inspection open book exam, consisting of approximately 90 questions. Check-in for the test begins at 6:30 a.m. The doors will be locked at 7:00 a.m. and those that are late will not be allowed to take the exam.
- Pricing: Includes the review, CP-81 pack and exam. Arrangements can be made for pick-up, as outlined below.
- Meals: Lunch is provided during the review session.
- PPE: Steel or composite-toed shoes, long pants, safety glass, and gloves are REQUIRED.
- A valid ID is required on the day of the test. The ID will be held until the Examinee completes and turns in their test(s) booklet/answer sheet.
- Lodging: If traveling from out of town the hotels at this link are located near our facility.

- Interpreters: The exams will be given in the languages published by ACI National. We are not allowed to utilized translators for the exams.
