- Location: The workshop and exam will be held in the ACI Office at the following location:
3900 Claymore Park Drive, #160
Houston, TX 77043
(located behind the Terracon Office) - Day 1 – Workshop (Friday, August 4, 2023) consists of a written / performance review.
Check-in for the workshop begins at 6:30 a.m. Students can expect to be finished at approximately 3 p.m. - Day 2 – Test (Saturday, August 5, 2023) includes the 90-minute open-book, written exam followed by the performance (hands-on) exam.
Check-in for the test begins 15 minutes prior to your assigned session. The test will begin at 7:00 a.m, The doors will be locked and those that are late will not be allowed to take the exam. - Pricing: Includes the review, CP-72 workbook, hands-on practice, and exam. Books will not be mailed. However, arrangements can be made for pick-up, email [email protected] to arrange a book pickup.
- Meals: Breakfast and lunch is not provided during the workshop. However, you may choose to eat at the ACI office or leave during the 1-hour lunch. (Drinks and Coffee are provided).
- Physical Strength Requirement: You must be able to lift at least 45 lbs during the performance exam. No exceptions without a valid doctor’s note stating that you are not able to lift 45 lbs.
- PPE: Steel or composite-toed shoes, long pants, safety glass and gloves are REQUIRED.
- A valid ID is required on the day of the test. The ID will be held until the Examinee completes and turns in their test(s) booklet/answer sheet.

- Interpreters: While we do not provide interpreters, we do have examiners that speak Spanish and Farsi that are able to assist with questions. Please make sure you annotate this on your registration.
- Refund Policy: Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis, up until 14 days prior to the workshop. There will be a $25.00 service fee charged for refunds. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the workshop. A one-time transfer will be allowed within the 14 days if notice is given prior to the day before the workshop. There will be a $25.00 service fee for transferring.
- Waiver: The attached waiver must be filled out and brought to class.
